Frequently Asked Questions | Executive Tree Care

Have questions about tree removal, pruning, storm damage, or what to expect from our service? Our ISA Certified Arborists serve Delaware County, Montgomery County, Chester County, Bucks County, and Philadelphia. Find answers below or contact us for a free estimate.

What services do you offer?

We offer a full range of tree care services including emergency storm damage response, tree trimming and pruning, complete tree removal, stump grinding, deep root fertilization, and tree health assessments. Whether you need routine maintenance or urgent hazard removal, our ISA Certified Arborists are equipped to help.

Do you remove stumps or is that a separate service?

Stump grinding is available as a standalone service or as an add-on to tree removal. During removal, we cut the tree down to near ground level, but the stump remains unless you request grinding. We recommend grinding stumps to prevent regrowth, eliminate tripping hazards, and reclaim your yard space. All debris is cleaned up to grade level.

Do you handle large or hazardous removals?

Yes. Our crew is trained and equipped to handle trees of all sizes, including large hardwoods and trees that are leaning, diseased, or growing near structures. For hazardous trees, we assess the risk carefully and use rigging, cranes, or sectional removal techniques to ensure a safe operation every time. All work is performed by our certified operators using company-owned equipment, no subcontractors, no rentals.

Do you offer emergency or storm damage services?

Yes. We provide 24/7 emergency response for storm-damaged trees, fallen limbs blocking roads or driveways, and trees threatening structures. Call our emergency line any time and we will dispatch a crew as quickly as possible to secure your property and prevent further damage.

How much does tree removal cost?

Tree removal costs vary depending on the size of the tree, its location, accessibility, and condition. A small tree might cost a few hundred dollars, while a large or complex removal can run several thousand. We provide free, no-obligation estimates so you know exactly what to expect before any work begins.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. One of our arborists will visit your property, evaluate the tree and the work involved, and provide a detailed written quote at no charge. Request your free estimate here.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We are fully licensed to operate in Pennsylvania and carry both general liability insurance and workers’ compensation coverage. We also have ISA Certified Arborists on staff. Certificates of insurance are available upon request.

Do I need a permit to remove a tree?

Permit requirements vary by municipality. In Delaware County, Montgomery County, Chester County, and throughout the Main Line, many townships have tree ordinances that protect certain species, sizes, or trees in specific zones. Some jurisdictions require permits for any removal, while others only regulate trees above a certain diameter. We will let you know what is required in your area and can help you navigate the process.

Do you clean up debris and haul it away?

Yes. Cleanup is a standard part of every job. We remove all branches, logs, and debris from the work area and leave your property tidy.
